Avengers: Endgame: Trailer Review

A glimpse of a green halo over Tony Stark and we immediately get a gloomy feeling, the impending doom has already struck down, and we are transported to the fatal events of the previous movie. Thanos has really wiped out 50% of the universe and the Avengers are shattered; they have been defeated, yet there seems to be a glimmer of hope.

The trailer begins with a monologue from Tony, a message addressed to his beloved Pepper Potts, but really a message for all of humanity to hear. He had been beaten by the all-powerful Thanos and despite all their attempts, they failed to defeat him. He is seen stranded in space, an unknown region, adrift and desolate. His means of sustenance are finished and the air is running out as well, it will only be a matter of time before his terrible demise occurs.

The trailer then takes us to earth, where the consequences seem to be dire, and we see a sullen Steve Rogers lamenting the death of his brothers in arms, and more. However, it’s not just Steve; we see a very distraught Bruce Banner and Thor, each of whom is thinking about the next course of action.

The scene then skips to various other characters, and we finally get a glimpse of Hawkeye, who has now taken up the persona of Ronin. Now The Black Widow and Captain America are discussing a plan, which the Widow is certain is going to work. The Captain has his doubts, but he is fully behind the plan. The final scene is where the real shroud of mystery lies, we see a very energetic Scott Lang, better known as the Antman, who is shouting at the camera, requesting permission to let him in. The reason the scene carries such momentous value is that in the premise to the movie, he is seen stuck in the quantum realm. His escape brings about some much-needed answers and perhaps a solution to defeating Thanos and undoing his actions.

Alia Bhatt & Her Latest Movie Raazi: Things You Cannot Afford to Miss!

Alia Bhatt has been quite eager about her next release Raazi directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced under the banner of Dharma Productions. This thriller features her in the robust role of a Kashmiri girl, who married to a Pakistani officer. Though the movie is set to release on 11th May 2018, the trailer of this movie has already garnered 18,204,052 views on YouTube till date, and after watching it, one can only say that the movie looks engrossing.

This time Alia Bhatt is going to star with Vicky Kaushal, and the duo would be sharing the sets for the first time after his impactful debut in Masaan, in the Bollywood film industry. Alia Bhatt is playing the powerful role of Sehmat in this film. She will be portraying the role of a daughter, a wife, and even a patriotic woman, who can move mountains for her country. The cast also encompasses veteran actors like Rajit Kapoor, Soni Razdan, Shishir Sharma, and young talented Jaideep Ahlawat.

Do You Know Alia Had to Learn New Skills for Raazi?

The bubbly, gorgeous and very talented Alia Bhatt has given an excellent performance once again in Raazi. The trailer of this film looks extremely engaging, and it seems that the actor has got into the skin of Sehmat, her character in Raazi. But the performance wasn’t a cake walk. Alia had to learn various new skills for justifying the story of the movie. Alia learned to drive the Jonga car, which was a challenge for her because Alia is more used to automatic cars.  To learn Pure Urdu was another task that Alia had to grasp because the director Meghna was extremely specific about the dialect. Alia was even asked to watch movies like Kabhi-Kabhi, Silsila, etc.; this learning spirit reflects the spark in the character of Alia Bhatt.

A True Story

If you didn’t know, Raazi is based on the novel Calling Sehmat by ex-naval officer named Harinder Sikka. This novel is a fictionalized note of a reportedly true story about an Indian Kashmiri secret agent, set during the period of the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

The former Lieutenant Commander of Indian Navy published a book in the year 2008 about a Kashmiri woman, who was married off to a Pakistani officer to fetch information about rival country’s war strategy. She delivered secret information back to India during the time of Indo-Pakistan war. The fact alone that Raazi is based on a true-life story dating back to 1971 Indo-Pak war makes this movie much more fascinating than anything else.  At present, Sehmat is no more, and her son serves the Indian army. It took Sikka long eight years to fictionalise and wheel a story with a cohesive narrative.

Thus, we cannot wait to watch Alia Bhatt as Sehmat, can we? If you haven’t checked out the link to this engaging movie clip, what are you waiting for; go watch it and you will definitely be grabbed by it.

We wish Alia and the entire crew all the best for Raazi!
